Elizabeth I :The life of success

O, gracious Queen Elizabeth 1 was born on the 7th of September 1533 in Greenwich located in London. She had an older sister named Mary 1 and a younger brother Edward VIII. She was the only child of Anne Boleyn who was the 2nd wife of Henry VIII.

Elizabeth happily took heir to the throne at the age of 25; she had the hard job of stabilising the monarchy as the earlier monarchs had either died or not had a long time on the throne.

Elizabeth had an extremely scary thought that the horrible Mary Queen of Scots could steal her place on the throne and Mary was actually plotting to kill her! So then Mary was imprisoned

and was executed shortly after that. Elizabeth then got the throne.

The very next year, the Spanish invaded with a huge Armarda ; which is now known as the Spanish Armarda. The battle went on for what seemed a long period of time. At last England won and they were very successful.

Her reign was the golden age, a time of art, literature and music. She will be remembered by everyone. She might in fact be England's greatest ruler.
