The mine was very low, Mrs Smith and Mr Comley bumped their heads a few times! We were all glad that we don't have to work in the mines like the Victorian children.

We put our helmets and lights on and made sure Rhodri was ready as well!

When we arrived, we went to the waiting room ready to go down the mine, 290ft underground!

We were excited and nervous!!
