In science, we have learnt about decaying plants and what they need to decay and to survive for longer periods. We also labled a kitchen and how that object effected the process of a plant decaying. Can you remember the 4 things it needed?

History

In history, we have started to move onto our new topic about Ancient Egyptians and Pharaohs. We filled in a sheet of paper using our internet skills to find out facts about: Pyramids, Pharaohs, River Nile, Society and Hieroglyphics. We also created a key event timeline and then reseached more important dates about back then. What new things have you learnt?

This week in PE, we have started to practise developing our cricket skills as we are coming up to a festival. (We attended this last year.) Our coach -Sam- taught us some new warm up games. Which one was your favourite?

In English this week, we have written a non-chronological report about Ancient Egypt and Pharaohs. We collected information off the internet because we didn't know about it before. We also used a comprehension sheet and highlighted important facts about Ancient Egypt. What did you find most interesting about the days back then?
