Grammar - Today we are going to edit a text. This author has made lots of mistakes in their writing and it is your job to correct it! First, you can have a go at using the symbols to show where the writing is incorrect on the text. Then write the date and LO in your Literacy books.

Now rewrite the text with the corrections. Choose one of the sentences that you corrected and write in the comments for me to check!

Reading - Answer questions for the "All About Plastic Pollution" comprehension. Make sure you answer in full sentences with the question as a sentence starter.



Spelling - Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check – Thursday and write 5 interesting sentences using the last 5 spelling words in the back of your Literacy books.

Geography/Computing - For this lesson, we are going to have a go at making our own PowerPoint again. It will be all about the 3 R's - reduce, reuse and recycle.

To create a new PowerPoint

1. Go to myuso
2. Go to mydrive
3. Go to Create new document
4. Choose MS PowerPoint
5. Name your PowerPoint "Recycling by (your name)"
6. Then click the word here

First Slide

1. Give it a title - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
2. Give it a subtitle - By (your name)
3. Add some pictures, change text colour/font and add transitions and animations (copy and paste a picture by right clicking on an image and clicking copy image then ctrl and v to paste)

Give it a title - How can we reduce plastic? Then research these questions in Google and write the answers in full sentences:

1. What does reduce plastic mean?
2. Research “how can we reduce our plastic” and choose 5 or more ways.
3. Add some pictures, change text colour/font and add transitions and animations.
