Cricket Festival

Last week year 4 attended the annual fun day at Earlswood cricket festival, playing against other primary schools in the local area. We had a great time using the skills that we have learned during PE lessons and from the coach that came to teach us how to play cricket properly.

The children were extremely well behaved and took shade from the sun at every opportunity they could and took on board lots of fluids. They saved any running round for the Cricket Festival. Even though we are a small school, we took two teams to the festival and we faced some schools who were double the size of Cheswick Green. The odds were against us but our boys and girls did us proud! So well done Year 4, every single player was simply outstanding!
