Remembrance Day

World war one ended at 11am on the 11th of November on the 11th month in 1918.Two minutes silence is at 11am to remeber the people who have died in all the wars.Remembrance Sunday is every year and falls on the 2nd Sunday in Novemeber.There are usually ceromonieds at war memorials and churches.

The anniversery is used to remeber all the people who have died. King George V asked the public to do a 2 minute silence at 11am.2 minute silence was a sighn of respect,poppy's grew after world war 1 ended.

That the poppy's grew in a field called Flanders Field.
