The children did so well this week learning about Autumn. We looked for signs of Autumn outside and spotted lots of seasonal changes including the leaves changing to orange and brown. We made some unique hedgehogs and enjoyed the story 'Pumpkin Soup' by Helen Cooper. We had lots of fun investigating autumn leaves with our magnifying glasses.

We had an exciting time scooping the seeds out of a pumpkin and creating repeating patterns using leaves, conkers and hedgehogs! The children also talked about the job of a scarecrow and other important jobs that people do. Another great week in Nursery.
