Lizzie Zipmouth

I have finished reading this interesting and quite funny book named Lizzie Zipmouth, by one of my favourite authors, Jacqueline Wilson.

This book is mainly focused on a girl, Elizabeth who decides not to talk to anyone, including her own mum, as she moves into her new step-father, Sam’s, home. Disgruntled by the way things are going on; Lizzie refuses to make friends with Sam’s two sons, Rory and Jake. She also hopes that Sam will scream at her, which will force her mother to go packing and she can go back to her normal life with her mom.

However, when she meets her kind of step-great grandmother that she begins to find a connection with her new family by bonding with Great-Gran over their love of dolls. But, when Great-Gran is very ill, Lizzie uses Great-Gran’s words to her in order to get Gran out of her ill-trance and Gran is recovered immediately.
