As the cockerel crowed loudly,Tiro desperately shook Naledi like maracas, she woke up with a shock "AHHHH!" Naledi screamed putting her hands in front of her face.

"Shhhhhh!" Tiro exclaimed quietly, "the farmer might shoot us."

"Oh sorry," she whispered as Tiro opened the dark oak door "ow my eyes," she said putting her hands over her eyes.

As there feet touched the road, the hotness from yesterday was a memory. "Hey Tiro, the road is colder than before," she happily exclaimed, "I feel like singing our favourite song." Suddenly, (SCREEEECH!) the loud sound of van tyres whizzed by them. "What are you kids doing here on your own?" the van driver said.

"Oh my dear Rra can you help us our sisters ill and our mum is in Jo'burg," Naledi sadly exclaimed with a tear in her eye.

"Well any way i'm heading there in my van to drop off these oranges, so are you two coming?" Rra said as the two hopped in the back.

As the truck rumbled on they saw the terrain slowly change. Tiro was thinking about how people dig in the rocks. Then they pulled out a post card with Parktown on the front and they knew that there mum was in that area.
