How I imagine children of my age during the Victorian age and how they spent their lives.

I think that the poor children during this time had an unhappy childhood. They had no money to buy new clothes, toys or sweets. They worked hard to get money for the family even at a very young age. The only toys they had were some wooden blocks or homemade dolls. The poor children worked for long hours and did not go to school. I can imagine how sad and weak they were. They cleaned narrow chimneys ...how suffocating it must have been! I think they had no time to play.

On the other hand, children of rich people wore nice clothes and had lots of toys to play with. I don't think they went to work like the poor ones. They even had pets like ponies! I think they ate good food and went on holidays too. They spent the day at school and playing with other rich children.
