This week in english, we have been learning about how to write a proper argument. We have been dicussing why some people judje other people by there apperance, age, disability and there culture.Today we watched a video about a buisness man and a poor man. Each of them took it in turns to fake fall and see how people will treat the poor man to the buisness man.They all had ten turns each. 10 people out of 10 helped the buisness man but only 2 out of 10 people helped the poor man.
After that, the class were discussing if we would help both or just one of them and why. Eliza said that she would help both no matter what but Saaim said that he wont help neither of them just in case one of them had a knife in the pocket or in the bag.
There was a story that Jahmal told the class that he tought was racist.One day when Jahmal was playing for his football team, he scored a really good goal and was celebrating but while he was celebrating, someone called him a black monkey and called him something really racist . I thought it was really rude but what i liked about it is that Jahmal never reacted back.
This sunday, my team played a cup match and won it. We were through to the semi-finals yeah! At the end of the match, we were celebrating our win and then someone on their team put both of his middle fingers up, started shoving them up at me and then called me something really offensive!!!
