100 Word Challenge - 26-01-20

One day there was a boy who was riding his  bicycle. He was so hungry and he was desperate to get home. But on his way he saw a weird, yellow statue planted in front of him. He wanted to stop and look, but

he was too hungry.

“Wait!” exclaimed a voice.

He was going to say something back but he thought he was just hearing things.

“Come back!” the voice shouted again.

He had to reply this time.

“Who are you and where are you coming from?”

“I am the statue.”

“What do you want? Tell me now!”

“You see, I know why you’re in a rush.”

“Yes, that is why I want get this over and done with!”

“Wow, someone’s hungry.”

“Hey! What did you say?”

“It doesn’t matter.”

“Ok, just tell me what you want to say.”

“I also know that you don’t like fruit or vegetables.”

That was true he never liked them; he would always slip them on to his sisters plate when she wasn’t looking.

“Yeah, I guess I don’t like them.”

“But if you don’t eat them now I can make all your favourite foods disappear!”

“What! HOW?”

“Here is a bowl of salad, now eat.”

“Huh?!? What did I even do to deserve this?”

“Well what have you been eating for the last 9 years?” He said that sarcastically.

“Twix.”

“Maybe that is why.”

“What is bad about Twix? It’s just something that tastes really good.”

“THOSE THINGS ARE GOING TO KILL YOUR TEETH!”

“What are teeth?”

“Please don’t tell me you don’t know what they are because you lost them 9 years ago”

“I don’t know because I have no idea what teeth are.”

“I don’t think I can save this one”
