and they like to eat plants and lizards that are less than 40 centimeters long.

Snakes are closely related to lizards. A snakes body has a lot of flexibility

and it can move in ways that other animals cannot do. Most snakes lay eggs

underground in loose soil or sand. The mother snake abandons

them, unless she is a cobra or a python.
