Camp night

Intro:

Hello class, last Thursday it was the unforgettable camp night!! So this week I will go through how it was like! For every child who is in year 3 or 4 and is reading this, this blog will prepare you for what it will be like.

What we did:

The moment we got there and my mum was checking me in, I raced towards my friends. Then I unpacked my things and Urwa helped me place and organise my belongings. After chilling out in my tent we were all called to the Arena, where Mr Lockwood-Wells told us what will be happening that evening. Next me, Josh, Albert and some other people went to do a T-pose ritual around the safety zone of the camp fire. After that the people with pork sausages as their choice got called for dinner. After, we roasted the delectable marshmallows on the campfire. penultimately we were told to brush our teeth and go to the toilet before bed. The thing is when I was on the toilet, people kept opening the door and protesting saying that we were taking too long. After all that chaos we got into our tents to eventually go to sleep.

what it was like in the tent:

During downtime the boys in the other tent (Mahdi, Josh, Mark and Ethan T) were making an ear bursting racket. They were so loud that Mr Lockwood-Wells had to tell them off. Finally Me, Holly and Iesha could get our well deserved sleep, or not...

During the night Holly L woke us both up multiple times. First time: "Are you guys asleep yet?"

Second time: "Guys Shhhh There's a fox in our tent"

Third time: "Isla, are you asleep, oh you are, Iesha are you asleep, good you're not, I need to go to the toilet. Ok, I'll go."

Fourth time: "Isla, how can you sleep?! Iesha, I need to go to the toilet again, can you open the tent for me? You're closest so please?"

It was very annoying when I had just gotten to sleep and a raindrop leaked through the tent and fell on my head.

What happened in the morning:

When we awoke, it was only 4am according to Holly's watch, so I went back to sleep while Holly and Iesha whispered amongst each other. When it was time to really get up, I was as awake as a monkey on stilts! My Mum came to collect some of my stuff. As we entered the great hall to have breakfast. I had CoCo pops and a chocolate brioche

(the last one to be exact, well the last one I saw. When we were called to brush our teeth, I realised my mum took my toothbrush! I had to my finger and Iesha's toothpaste. We got into class at around 8:30am and had no lessons all day.
