HOW DO THEY WORK?

Maglev's use magnetic

poles to levitate in the air

by repeling the magnets

the train floats in the air.

Because at home if magnets

repel then they push away

from each other right? yes

Now the maglev uses the same

principal only on a much

bigger scale so it can float

above the rails.

So the magnets on the carriges

and engine are oposite to the

ones on the rails,on one side

of the train there are south

pole magnets on the other

side there are north pole

magnets.Then thats were

the rails come in

SUPPORT

So support-wise the middle

of the rail is curved to let

the runners installed into

the bottom of the maglev

can fit over the curved bit

in the rail, and the outside

is flat to let the runners

on the maglev's underside

can have space to glide along.
