Black History Month is a time that black people celebrate because that is the month black people got rights. In the olden days people thought that white people should have rights because they were white and black should not because they were black. Many black heroes fought for our rights as black people these people got locked up! These heroes were people like Nelson Mandela,Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King.
