1. Do you like being at St George's school and if so why?

I love being at St George's school, it's such a lovely and welcoming environment. The children are lovely, the staff are lovely and yes it's just a lovely school to work in.

2.Do you feel welcome as a new teacher and if so why?

I feel very welcome not just because of the staff but they're lovely. I was nervous at the start but they welcomed me and when I got to know the colleagues I would be working with. As soon as I met the children in my class they were lovely and welcomed me as well so that really helped.

3.What was your old school called and do you miss being there?

My old school was called Holy Trinity Primary school and I do miss it a little bit, it was a very tiny school. It was only a one form entry school and I was teaching year three there but I must say I do like being at St Georges and I love the year five class I've got now.

4.Are the staff and children teaching you new things and if so what are they teaching you?

They're definitely teaching me new things like the staff have taught me how organise my workload and my class are teaching me how to do different strategies in maths or different things in English so I'm always learning from staff and children.

5.What is your favourite lesson to teach and why do you like it?

I would have to say science is my favourite simply because I was a science person at school and it is my strong subject and favourite when I was younger. I love how you can do cool experiments and you get all these cool ideas and you get to see if the experiments that happen are really practical and that's why I like science the best.

6.What are your hobbies?

Well I am quite sporty and I like netball, I've played netball since I was young and I like going swimming, and I like going to the cinema with my friends.

7.What is your favourite colour?

My favourite colour is purple.

8. What is your favourite food and why?

My favourite food is lasagne, I just love lasagne, I think because my mum used to make it when I was a child and she made it really, really well. I just love the Italian cuisine.

9. Where did you go to school as a child?

My primary school was actually called St Georges as well and it was a tiny little village in Bedfordshire and it was a lovely little school to grow up in.

10. What is your favourite film and why?

My favourite film is Sleeping Beauty because I use to watch it when I was a child a lot and I just love Disney film's they're my favourite. I love the dress she wears and the little fairies that look after her.

11. What is your favourite book and why?

My favourite book is I am Mala because it's very inspirational a story of a brave, young teenage lady who stood up for what she believes in. Education rights for all girls and children. She's trying to make the world a better place and continues to show her determination.
