Yesterday, the 5th of November. My teacher Mrs.Stewart was going to set fire to the classes model houses because before half term my class and I were learning about the (unappealing Great Fire of London.) So my teacher decided for half term that we could create a model house. However she explained."The house can be no bigger than the size of your hand!" But unfortunately some children didn't listen. When I made my model house, I used cardboard for the house and chimney,I also used silver paint and paper.

On the first day back at school with my house I felt proud to have created such an outstanding model.I thought it would have been too beautiful to burn.It finally came to the day that the marvellous houses were going to be burnt down by the ferocious beast. That day,the class and I started to list some of the risks for being around a conflagaration I suggested that if the fire gets out of control stand back and put it out with a fire extinguisher. After we had done that, the class and I lined up in a straight line in line order and sensibly walked outside into the playground,my heart was pounding. I felt extremly excited however nervous at the same time.

My couragous teacher Mrs.Stewart and the other year 5 teacher Mrs.Tigg helped set the conflagaration with match sticks. After they kindly did,Mr.O the safety assistant poured white spirit onto the houses, when the conflagaration spread towards my model I felt distraught because I put so much work into it,but I was giggling too.I started to see toxic flames fill the playground, however I smelt disgusting smoke slithering towards me like a grey snake.Suddenly I heard hyperactive children screaming like little pigs.

When the fire began to cease I felt amazed because I could see grey ash in a collosal pile!
