No, but I have two teenage boys!

The brilliant children.

Tennis.

Have you always been a teacher?

Not exactly, I’ve always worked with kids but I used to be a nanny.

Education.

A stunt woman.

On the 13th, 14th and 27th of February, the Year 4s travelled into London to explore the foreshore. Meeting up at the shore, the Year 4s were bursting with excitement. They looked around the bank of the River Thames to explore what had washed up. They dug for old objects, becoming expert archaeologists for a day. The children found many interesting objects including: bones, pottery, wood, rocks and even teeth! They also enjoyed looking at London’s marvelous buildings on a lovely train journey. What a great trip!

On the 1st of March, the Year 6’s found out which high schools they would be going to! Most children are going to places like: Glenthorne, Cheam or Greenshaw, but there are many other amazing schools that our Year 6s will be sent to at the end of the school year. We hope you are happy with your choices and good luck at your future schools!

The winner for last issue's competition was... Geeyong! He used some excellent language and great detail in his haunted house story - we would be way too scared to go near it! lt was very hard to choose a winner as all entries were written with beautiful language. Thank you for entering!

This week, you need to write a ten word sentence in the form of a story. For example you could write… “Shrek was an ogre who saved and married a princess.” The winner will be announced in assembly in a couple of weeks. Good luck!
