Ash Class are learning about The Great Fire of London this term. We have been using role play and story maps to help us re-tell the story and next week we will be making marble ink paintings of the fire!

This week we visited The Museum of London and were lucky enough to touch and hold real-life objects that were in the actual fire all the way back in 1666!

Next month, officers from the London Fire Brigade will be coming in to talk to us about fire safety and we will also be going on a trip to Pizza Express to compare their pizza ovens with the bread ovens used by Thomas Farriner - and also to eat pizza!
