HOW VOLCANOES ERUPT AND WHAT IS THE IMPACT?

A volcanic eruption is a devastating event that could happen at any time. Volcanic eruption are very rare. they can wash away houses and people's bodies leaving their skeletons behind.

In order to understand why volcanoes cause such destruction, you first need to understand the crazy science behind them! Incredibly the earth consists of for layer called inner core, outer core, the mantle and the crust. The inner core is so blistering hot that it can reach up to 8000 degrees. The mantle is where all the melted rocks are [ another word for this is magma]. Magma is a hot blistering hot rock liquid that comes out of a volcano.

The last layer is the crust, and this is the land we live on , you might think that the crust is stable but in reality the crust is broken up into gigantic pieces of land called tectonic plates.Tectonic plates have jagged edges and they keep on moving; sometimes they become jammed and one of the plate gets pushed in to the magma. Once the plate has been pushed down into the magma, the magma crawls up in the gaps and through the vent. The vent is like a pipe inside a volcano.
