The Digestive System

The food goes into the mouth and get broken up with your teeth and gets softer by your salivary glands then you swallow the food and it travels through the oesophagus that takes about six seconds after it goes to the stomach. In the stomach there is an acid that breaks the food up into a liquid and travels to the small intestine slides through it and carries on to the large intestine slides through that. The large intestine has made sure the digestive juices have cleaned and soaked up before the food enters the zone of the anus.

When the food reaches the anus it will be excreted and that will by the end of the body`s business of digestion.
