The mysterious cupboard

Imagine if you moved to a new house and you found a mysterious cupboard in the basement.

One month ago my family and I moved to an old and abandoned house that gave me shivers. I tried to convince my mother not to move there but it was no use. The house

was in a dark forest outside the city we used to live in.

One day when my mother and my grandma went shopping, my sister and I decided to explore the house. When we were finished exploring and we were going upstairs to our rooms we noticed a door under the stairs which let to the basement. We were frightened and at the same time we were excited to explore it.

We slowly went down the stairs to find that there was an old looking cupboard in the middle of the room. My sister and I agreed to open it. We opened it and it looked like it was really big inside so we went in. When we were walking to try and reach the end we

suddenly noticed that we weren`t in the cupboard anymore we were outside somewhere.

There were people wearing clothes like in the 1960`s and there were a lot of children playing old games. We were curious to know why people were acting like people

from the 1960`s. So we went to a girl who was playing an old game with her friends

and we asked her, "Why are you acting like people from the 1960`s?" she replied,

"We`re not acting, and it is 1960!" We were shocked when she said that. She said,

"Why did you ask?" We told her quietly, "We are from 2021" She was now shocked

as well. She thought that we were joking but then we told her we weren't and she believed us. We became friends and then we remembered that we needed to get

back home. We said bye and we found the same cupboard and went in it, walked

through the hallway and got out of the basement. We were happy that we came back safely and early. I guess it wasn`t a bad thing we moved here.
