What I learned by using Cyber Pass.

CyberPass - a site where you can learn many things from. It tells you how you can keep safe on the internet - how you can handle with computer bugs and with people who send you things that may harm your feelings and/or your PC.

One of the many things that I learned was that when you get an unknown email, you shouldn't open it because of the viruses that can be spread because of the attachment. These sorts of viruses can be prevented by many anti-virus programs but you have to be sure that you have the right one. If you get one that says 'made in 2013', for example, it can be out of date. This means that as technology grows, people come out with more ways to infect your computer. I found out that keeping up to date with your anti-virus program can help deal with the virus problem.

Nowadays, hackers go to many extents to hack other people's bank accounts and other crucial information - like your passwords. In order for this not to happen, you mustn't tell anyone your password, not even your friends because of the high chances of your passwords getting to dangerous hackers who can misuse them for many different reasons.

So make sure that you have learned all the rules before going online in order to prevent the damages that can be caused. I hope you take my ICT lesson as one of your own.
