Book Review

This story is about an alien boy that comes from outer space and goes to school on earth.

The Children in Class four where busy working, when their teacher Miss Underwood announced that she had something important to tell them. She told them that a new boy is coming in their classroom named Otto and that he comes from outer space. Otto looked like the other children but his colour was green. Miss Underwood told him to sit next to Jo, Josh and Charlie and he immediately made friends with them. The teacher asked the children to give Otto a hand if he needs it but Otto replied that he already has two hands. Miss Underwood smiled and replied 'just sit down and be a dear.' He answered that he can't be a dear but instead he can quack like a duck. He flapped his arms like wings and went: 'Quack! Quack! Quack! and Charlie his new friend joined in. Miss Underwood smiled at Otto and told him not to Quack in class, then she frowned at Charlie that he should know better. Charlie was angry and grumbled that it wasn't fair that the new boy didn't get blamed and instead he got in trouble. That's when Charlie decided that he didn't like Otto one bit. Charlie made a lot of mistakes during class, one time while he was painting, he leaned back on his chair and fell down and so did all the paints on top of Charlie. Now Charlie was green also like Otto ad he wasn't happy about it.

Sometimes Otto misunderstood some words that the teacher would tell them to do in class.

Once they had a treasure hunt and Otto was really excited. His partner was Jo and tried to find all the clues to find the missing treasure. After many attempts they found a box of golden coins which were chocolate money. Jo and Otto were very happy and shared all the treasure chocolates with their classmates. Otto was very happy and told everyone that from now one he can help everyone because he is good at finding things.

I would like to recommend this book to all of my friends as it will make them smile.
