This week in Microsociety we have played a game were each table in class got given a folder, then in each folder there were various items. We had to trade the items with other tables to get the items that we needed. Next, we had to get a piece of paper and cut out a 10cmsquare and a 10cm circle. We then got a counter and drew around it. The square and circle are 10 points each and the counter is 5 points. We took them to Mr West so we could get our points.

Then we read a story called “JUSTENUF” which is about a planet which has a robot. One day he breaks down, but the problem is that he is the one that makes sure there is enough food for everyone. As the food has run out, there is a fight between all the people of Justenuf and the Captain organised the giving out of the rest of the food so everyone got an equal amount.

The last thing we have done in Microsociety so far is to design a flag. One Wednesday, 1st May, we are going to decide who’s flag is the best. We will have a vote. And that’s what we have done so far in Microsociety.
