Year 5 Half Term Homework
This week, please research something you are interested in around the topic of the Victorians. This is the First part of your Oracy project. You will be using this research to put into a presentation (either using Power Point , J25 or Adobe Spark- something of your choice!
Breakdown of dates for Oracy task
Week 1: 26th- 30th October: HALF TERM
Research about something YOU are interested in about the Victorians. It could be about medicine and diseases; crime; the workhouse, inventions, transport etc
You will need enough research to help you talk for around 2 minutes. Use a range of suitable websites and resources with your parents'/carers' help. Stay safe online!
Either do your research on a paper and photograph it and upload it to J25, or do it straight onto a J25 document.
Week 2: 2nd Nov -6th Nov (1st week back in school after half term)
Use your research and place key reminders into a PPT, J2Launch presentation or Spark.
Week 3: presentation week beginning 9th November
ALL ready to present.
