when our house caught fire



It was the night before my mums birthday when I was with my friends at my house. While mum was at work and dad went to vuy decorations for the surprise party we were going to throw.

At one point my friends and I were hungry and my dad still wasn’t home. I decided to make some food for us while they were on the sofa watching a movie.

While thebpasta was on the stove I waited a few minutes and until it was ready I went to watch a bit of the movie next tp thwm and after a few minutes I forgot I was making pasta. After about an hour my friends anf I started to smell an awful smell from the kitchen and that’s when I remembered and said “I forgot the food and it caught on fire.” We al started panicking and I tried to put water on it but it got worse. I was scared half to death.

We ran away with the awfil smell of plastic burning and called my dad and he told me to call the fire fighters.

It all was a terrifying expirince that I hope will never happen again.
