I know I'm a bit late (I always am) but this was our English lesson last week. And of course I also did it for fun!

Watermelon

Watermelons are very special,

Inside, the colour is like a squished red petal.

It looks like a giant ball,

But inside the seeds are very small.

Eating watermelon is so refreshing,

It's even better than salad dressing.

However, the green in the outside,

Is as hard as a rock,

And it's not as soft as a sock.

Everyone loves watermelon,

Especially people who are 11 ( like me!|)

The juice might go everywhere on you,

But at least you get to buy can some clothes that are brand new.

You should really go and buy one,

But be careful! It might weigh a ton!
