In 2012 Penboyr School came first in the National Urdd 'Create a Website Competition'.

The theme was 'Celebrations'. As a church school we felt that we could publish our annual church celebrations that we as Christians, take part in.

Pupils from year 5 and 6 created the website using J2e. The website has been written from a child's perspective and includes colourful clip art, photos, films of the pupils and an interview with the Vicar Gillibrand.

Yn 2012 daeth Ysgol Penboyr yn gyntaf yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yr Urdd, ‘Cystadleuaeth Creu Gwefan’.

‘Dathliadau’ oedd y thema. Fel ysgol eglwys teimlem y gallem gyhoeddi ein dathlaidau eglwysig blynyddol yr ydym ni fel Cristnogion yn rhan ohonynt.

Defnyddiodd blynyddoedd 5 a 6 J2e i greu’r wefan. Ysgrifennwyd y wefan o safbwynt plentyn ac mae’n cynnwys celf clip lliwgar, ffotograffau, ffilmiau o’r disgyblion a chyfweliad â’r Parch J. Gillibrand.
