THE PYEOGRAPHY -

the story of MR PYE

Our new teacher for this term is fabulous, fun loving and world explorer Mr Pye. From the day he was born through to all the countries he has set foot in and then to the moment he entered Flamingos classroom. Read on to find more about our funny new teacher, Mr Pye!

Early life

Mr Pye was born in Southampton a number of years ago. He went to Hamble Primary (and secondary) school. Ever since he knew what football was, immediately, Southampton had a new loyal fan. At home, he had a Hampshire Hunting Hound called Meg and 2 younger sisters, Lorna and Katie.

Education

Mr Pye studied French in Hamble Primary and Secondary, but then he left to travel after his exams. After a while, he travelled back to Uni and Mr Pye studied Thai language and Tropical Geography. He also gained 10 GCSE and English Psychology A levels.

Jobs

Mr Pye had many jobs including training as a chef in school and in Hong Kong, working in a secondary school in Maidstone with Maths and Geography and finally he was a scuba diver instructor in Honduras.

Travelling

Mr Pye spent 3 years in Asia learning about their traditions. His favourite place he'd set foot in was Thailand. Amazingly in the time he'd spent working in Hong Kong he'd learned to dive. In the last 8 years in Central America he has visited Honduras, Nicaragua and Mexico.

Now

Mr Pye spent half the year in Mexico cave diving, while exploring and making maps. He also made the most of the beautiful scenery by relaxing on the beach. Then he came back to England and spent half the year teaching in Kent.
