Firstly, SPaG stands for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar.

To help you I'll teach you a bit about the different types of words.

PRONOUN: a pronoun is a word that replaces a noun in a

sentence: He, she, her, him.

ADVERB: a word that describes how someone is doing

something: Quickly, slowly, happily.

ADJECTIVE: an adjective is a describing word:

Fast, slow, blue, red.

HOMOPHONE: a homophone is a group of words that

sound the same but are spelt differently: There, their

and they're; flour and flower.

Don't forget!: There are 4 types of nouns.

COMMON NOUN: Table, chair, dog, cat= nouns we use everyday!

PROPER NOUN: Annelise, England, Berlin, Maddie= nouns that need a capital letter.

EMOTIVE NOUNS: Angry, annoyed, anxious, bored= emotions and feelings.

COLLECTIVE NOUNS: Herd, flock, pod, murder= the name of a group of animals,
