For this term, we have a new amazing, football-loving teacher, Mr Pye. This biography will tell you everything about our teacher, from the day he was born, through the challenges the world has set him, to the moment he set foot in flamingos classroom.

Early life

Mr Pye was born in Southampton a number of years ago. When he was younger he went to a primary school called Hamble. There he realised that his dream to become an astronaut- to explore other worlds could become reality (they didn't). Although his dream was to become an astronaut, his favourite subjects were geography and nature.

Education

As mentioned before, Mr Pye committed to Hamble primary school (it was a secondary school as well). There he passed 10 GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) and later on he passed English and psychology A levels. Later in university he studied tropical geography. He finished London University at the age of 25.

Jobs

A couple of years later he trained as a chef (as later mentioned he did this in Hong Kong). Mr Pye then worked in a secondary school in Maidstone teaching geography and maths. Later he travelled to Honduras to become a scuba diving instructor.

Travelling

Mr Pye spent three years in Asia and fell in love with the country of Thailand. He later travelled to Hong Kong to work as a chef. The last eight years of travelling he spent in Honduras, Nicaragua and Mexico.

Now

Now our lovely teacher spends about half the year in Mexico cave-diving, exploring, making maps and relaxing on a beach. The other half he spends filling our brains with valuable information here in Kent.

Now that I've met him he's even cooler than I thought!
