Last week Saturn class went on a trip to the hsbc bank in canary wharf it was a trip of a life time.

When we got there the first thing that caught our eye were the two lions that stood in front of the bank there names were Steven and Stit.

Steven and Stit were made out of bronze with 8 golden coins underneath to bring good luck. The lion wit its mouth open is called Steven and the one with its mouth closed is called Stit the lions are said to protect the bank.

The hsbc bank in canary wharf was made in 2nd of April 2003 ,but the hsbc banking cooperation is now celebrating its 150 year in work and to show that honour the bank in canary wharf has a statue ,but no ordinary statue.

It is in the shape of a grain of rice to show that alone a grain of rice isn't worth much ,but together its a whole different story.
