Coding Blog

At Gorseinon Primary we participated at a coding event where we control or code drones.

The drone we controlled on a app called Tynker and it had different modes and you had to unlock them. The mode we used was Coding101 and minigame toys. This was all held at the Gorseinon Primary drone workshop and the type of drone that we used was called the parrot drone.

First we had to different landmarks and our first landmark was Tenby and it took like about 6-7 mins and it was on the left of the stage (As you could tell we didn't actually fly our drones there) The code always has to have 3 or more codes in the code it self. Second landmark was Liberty Stadium, we kept the same code but started the drone in a different spot and angle and it didn't take a lot of time. Third it was Snowdon and it was fairly easy again we put it in a different spot and angle again and we changed the second of flight.

We had a few problems like disconnection. etc
