A Long Walk In The Countryside

Last week my Mum and my aunt decided to take us for a long walk in the countryside at Ħlantun in Safi. My brother, my cousins and I prepared some things in our backpacks like camera, bottle of water and packed lunch. At five o'clock in the evening we left from home and in ten minutes we were there.

When we arrived, my first thought was that we were going to see huge trees.What we saw was fields with long green grass, flowers and some trees. Next,in the trees,there were birds in their nests. Hurriedly, I took out my camera from my backpack and took a picture of those birds in the nests.

After a while we stopped walking to have a snack. When we finished our snack my cousin asked us if we could play hide and seek. My cousin started counting and we ran to hide quickly, I did not see a branch and I fell over it. My brother asked me,"Did you hurt yourself?" We all started laughing because I was not hurt.

We had so much fun that we did not realise that it was half past seven. We packed all the things and walked back to the car.
