East Leicester Girls Cricket Finals 24/4/18

The Girls Team competed for the first time together at this tournament, winning their first 3 games and Group 1 against Herrick, Sparkenhoe and Sir Thomas More Primary Schools.

In the Finals Group we lost to Spinney Hill who went on to win the competition and Mayflower.

This meant Sandfield finished a very creditable 3rd in the competition. Well Done Girls!

On Wednesday, 21 KS2 children took part

in the Soar Valley KS2 Multi- Sport Festival.

They had lots of fun trying lots of different sporting

activities,alongside children from other local schools,

some they have done before and others

they hadn't.
