Local Townspeople Save The Day

Last Friday,at 10:50pm,the light from a nearby lighthouse suddenley went out. Whilst the people of Rocky Island were feasting and drinking the night away, danger loomed not so far away. The lighthouse, which has protected the island for 100s of years, stands tall near the rocky and dangerous coast of the island.

As the lighthouse keeper recalls the horrific experience,he said "I just couldn't believe it when I realised the light had gone out. My heart skipped a beat!"explained Peter Nelson, the lighthouse keeper. The townspeople said they didn't no what to do and started o panic. Luckely one person must of heard the crach and gathered his friends to make a plan.

At the lighthouse Peter Nelson saw a ship coming towards the lighthouse. "I didn't no what to do and I was hoping the townspeople would come and help." Within moments, hundreds of townpeople came with shiney lantons.

The disastor was avoided, and everyone was happy. Peter Nelson said he was so relieved when he saw the towndpeople and if they didn't come lives would of been lost. Now the townspeople and the lighthouse keeper get on very well.
