On the 15th November,Year 6 went on a trip to Coventry Cathedral to learn about World War 2. At the catherdral we interviewed some people who experienced it:House wife, Provost Howard, Evacuee, Jock Forbes, A family member who was in the shelter

Here are some of the things we learnt:

Evacuee

-We chose some items from the suitecase and talked about how they used it and what they used it for.

-We tried to discover whose suitcase it was

-We found out that it was Brian's suitcase

A family member who was in the shelter

-We sang some songs that they sung when they were in the shelter.

-We learnt what they built to make the shelter

-There were a maximum of 6 people in your own shelter (not in a public shelter).

-They told us that they played some games when there we bored.

-They heard bombing for 11 hours.

-A shelter costed £5 but if you couldn't afford it you would use a public shelter.
