Year 3 Lockdown News

Year 3 will write about one day from the holidays. They will use their recount skills to write a diary of their chosen day.

At home can parents help to choose a day during the Lockdown that would be interesting to write about. We have talked about including Who, When, Where, What and Why.

Can parents chat about interesting details that could be included. Year 3 have learnt that a recount is in time order of when the events happened and how words like next, then, later, finally are important.

Back in school we will make notes about this chosen day and the children will write about their day.

Please help at home to decide on the day which may be a day when cakes were made or a game in the garden.
