swimming

Swimming is a different type of sport compared to all the other sports,because it's in water.You use your arms and leg's alot;however it is a sport you have to practice a lot for.If you go swimming quite a bit and you are good at it you might have a chance being in the Olympics.I like swimming too ,but I am not the greatest at it. These are all the types of swimming disciplines that sports people complete in Olympics : butterfly,backstroke , breaststroke.

Table Tennis

Table tennis is more hand movement then leg movement.Table tennis,which isn't my favourite sport,needs the following things:table tennis bat,table tennis table,ping pong ball and a pair of sports clothing;makes it easier to play and move around quicker.

There are different ways to play table tennis :chinese and normal.When you play chinese it is harder for you to hit the ball, because you have to focus more on where you are moving your bat.

This is a table tennis bat it is red on one side and blue on the other.It doesn't matter which side you play on,it's up to you.At my school we have quite a few table tennis tables,so we can practice and get better and better everyday.Eventhough,you can have fun playing table tennis you also need to practice.

Archery

This sport is called archery and is very difficult.If you don't have alot of experience, I would not try to do it without an experienced archery player or trainer.This sport contains these items:arrows and the arrow shooter.

takes place in a huge field or a training

venue.I have never tried to play

archery,but i would like to.It does look

a bit tricky;i will still try it.Not many

people play archery or watch it,

because it doesn't get spoken about.

As you can see this lady is in a field and is aming at a target.The target has different points,the smaller the circle you get it in the more points you get.When you aim at the target, the wind changes,so if the wind is pushing to the right you go aim at the left of the target to get a higher score.

You can get taught how to play archery,

at many places.You might want to have

ago if you think you could be any good

at it.

Triathlon

Athletics is made up of three sports,they are called swimming,cycling and running.It's very difficult,because you go into each sport after the other.When you play swimming you go straight into cycling,so when you get on your bike you are still putting your cycling shoes on.

When you do triathlon you stay

in the same clothes for all of the

sports.As you can see the bikes

they are riding on have very thin

wheels;they have thin wheels,because that means they can go faster.They also have tight clothes,so they can go faster.

These people are jogging.

Jogging,which comes last in

triathlon,is normaly 26.2 miles

and can be very hard for some.

When you do triathlon you have

a number throughout the whole

thing.

Tennis

This is called tennis,and is non-contact.Tennis,which is normally played on astro turf,consists of having many things:tennis racket,tennis ball and a tennis court.There is a tournament every year,which is played at Wimbledon. I hope Andy Murry wins this year.
