The Bishop of St Davids

On Thursday April 30th, the Bishop of St Davids came to Cae'r Felin School.

He told us that he had 3 different outfits in his car and he was wearing a big necklace around his neck and he had a cross and on the necklace he had a symbol of a bird on the necklace.

He also had a "staff". A staff is like a big stick and on that "staff" a person was holding a cross.

The Bishop favourite colour is gold and he does not like purple. He had a robe - it was white and blue and gold.He was born in Haverfordwest and he likes meeting people and children in schools like ours.

Before he leaves he would like to go to all the churches in Wales. He likes rugby and the Scarlets and he likes curry and fish.

He never wanted to be a Bishop. He wanted to be an archaelogist. He never thought he would be the Bishop of St Davids. He has travelled a lot of miles this year over 15,000 miles.

I liked the Bishop because he told us a lot of facts about himself and he seems like a fun guy.
