This week we have been learning all about homes from around the world. We have looked at different materials that people use in different parts of the world to build houses. We looked at homes built on stilts in countries that have flooding and homes made of clay and straw in Mexico. These Adobe homes have thick walls and keep cool in the day when it's hot and warm at night. We have had lots of fun building homes inside and outside with construction. We have looked carefully at their shapes and the features that they have. It has been interesting to see all of the pictures that the children have brought in and they have given us lots to talk about!
