On Monday 14th November, pupils from Year 5 and 6 attended a table tennis tournament at Harrow Leisure Centre with Mr Willis. We travelled by taxi to arrive just after lunch. We competed against five other schools in each round and St George's played four games each. It took a lot of practice to beat the other schools so that our performance was of high quality. This tournament was not a competitive tournament so everybody won.

All of the people in the team from St George's played exceptionally well. All the members from the team enjoyed the afternoon and everyone got congratulated from all the staff that ran the fantastic afternoon. On top of that, we all got a leaflet to join the Harrow Table Tennis Club so that meant that they liked the way we played in the whole tournament.

We were helping Mr Willis count up scores and make sure he was counting the points correctly. We all think that the hardest school to be was St Anselm's because they had good techniques. After that we got out of the building and we were dripping with sweat because we were trying really hard. So we got back in a taxi and went back to school as a happy team. Mr Willis congratulated everyone for representing the school so well. The day was awesome!
