The Fire

One night the man was in his bed. The man was reading a book on the bed. The dog was sleeping on the floor.

The man fell asleep in his bed. The book fell on the floor, almost on the dog.

The window was open. The wind was strong. The candle burned the curtain.

The dog woke up. The dog woke the man up. The man heard the dog barking. The dog was barking because the wind coming in the room moved the curtain onto the candle.

The man got off the bed and closed the window. The dog saved the man from the fire. The man went to get a bone for the dog.
