Year 2 Homework 10/11/17
In class this week we have been working on adding and subtracting 9 and 11. We have been encouraging the children to use the method of adding 10 first and then adding one. For example;
20 + 11 =
20 + 10 = 30
30 + 1 = 31
20 - 9 =
20 - 10 = 10
10 + 1 = 11
The children can try the set they are comfortable with.
