ANNE'S BAKING

It was a Friday afternoon, Anne grabbed her cook book to find a special recipe for some mouthwatering chocolate cupcakes. She was so excited because she wanted to surprise her son Tommy since it was his birthday.

Anne prepared all the ingredients of the recipe and then mixed them in a bowl. She prepared the dough using the rolling pin. When ready, Anne put the mixture in the baking tray and then in the oven. Since Anne was feeling tired, she sat down on the armchair, waiting for the cupcakes to bake so that she could decorate them with her son's favourite icing. Unfortunately after some minutes, Anne snoozed on the armchair for some minutes. Then she woke up shocked when she smelled that something was burning. In a hurry, she opened the oven. A lot of smoke came out. Soon she realised that her cupcakes were overcooked and some of them even burnt. Anne was frustrated because now she couldn't surprise her son Tommy.

Anne threw the burnt cupcakes in the trash bin and then after some thinking, she ran as fast as she could to the nearest bakery to buy some chocolate cupcakes. Now, she could still surprise Tommy.
