Y3 and Y4 joined forces to plan our topic. We worked in small groups to note down ideas, then made a whole group topic plan.

We watched a video to remind ourselves of what the UNCRC is and the important purpose it has in our lives.

We then worked in groups to diamond rank some of the rights. We shared our group's thoughts with the rest of the class.

We visited Swansea University to watch a Science lecture based on energy. We also went on a nature trail around Singleton Park.

Techniquest came to visit our school. We took part in many Maths problem solving activities.

Welsh Water visited our school and they came to complete a workshop with Year 4.

We learnt a lot about using and saving water in our homes and school. We estimated then measured how much water we could save using a "Water Hippo" in our toilets.

We read and performed a poem called "Advice from Dracula".

We explored Top Trump cards and used place value skills to sequence certain sections.
