A letter to my parents when I was on a camping trip

Dear Mum and Dad,

How are you? Hope you are doing well! We are having a blast here at the camp. We have been playing lots of exciting games, hanging out and sleeping in each others tents. My favourite part of being in the camp is when we go hiking. My friends and I have agreed to bet on some small stuff like gambling for camp spots. We played sport games and a game that we invented. The game consists of drawing a rock, paper or scissors. We would throw one card each round and the person who wins two of out three is the winner. Even though I only won once, I still had a great time doing it.

When the sun sets, we would tell scary stories and start to talk about our favourite hobbies. Every day we would light a camp fire, we would snuggle around it since it would be cold in the evening. After the fire goes out we would go back regularly into our tent. Our limited time to stay awake after the bonfire is three hours.

The biggest tents go at the back and the smaller ones at the front. In the big tents, up to three camp leaders can sleep. The smaller tents can sleep two children. There are some consequences when you misbehave. You will become a camper pet if you don't follow the rules. The camper pets are the ones that have to gather the wood. The consequence will only last for a day and hope that the children who misbehave will learn their lesson. I hope I caught you up to where we are now. I see you in a week's time.

From your son,

John.
