Should children have the right to vote

This discussion is about should children have the right to vote some people think no because they don't know anything about parliament and not make the right call. But on the other hand some people think yes because children are the future and should have the vote to make it what they want when there older.

To start this argument kids should live in a world that they want. kids can then chose what there future and not just leave it to people that don't know whats gonna happen to the children that live in that world and they might then live in a world that they don't want then there gonna blame they mum and dad for voting for a world that they did not want.

secondly children are the next generation of so they should be incharge of they future children might don't want brexet and can vote against it and have something else what if children want something for they future they can vote for it.

In addition 16 year old's are capable to vote. recent resarch on adolescent brain develoment has shown that a 16 year old has the same abilites for cold cognition as any adult.and so they can make the same vote as an adult.

on the other hand children should not vote because they might not know what they voting on something with out knowing the facts. children live in a home that might be on the other side and when there older the can vote on what they know.

To add to this children are under age to go in to politics. children don't have the maturity and experience to cast a vote. they might not know what to do and then vote on something wrong for the world

finally kids could vote for something because there friends are. kids are pressure to do things that they don't want and the wrong person could run the country and that's one of the problems with allowing kids to vote they might get pressured to do something
